Wandering Willow Psychotherapy

This project was a pleasure to bring to life. Cait Forget, at Wandering Willow Psychotherapy, wanted a welcoming, client-centered website that would resonate with individuals seeking stress relief and emotional support. With a focus on creating a calm, accessible space online, I crafted a design that emphasizes clarity, warmth, and ease of use. Every aspect, from the gentle colour palette to the streamlined navigation, was designed to help clients feel at home from the first click.

Working closely with Cait, I developed a site that meets high standards in accessibility and user experience while capturing the essence of their compassionate approach. The finished website is intuitive, engaging, and supportive—a website as caring as Cait herself.

Calm.

From the start, I focused on bringing a sense of tranquility to every part of the site. Soft colours and gentle typography choices work together to reflect the natural, grounded quality of Wandering Willow’s approach. The design is minimalist, with spacious layouts and intentional whitespace that create a sense of calm, allowing visitors to navigate with ease and find the support they need without feeling overwhelmed.

Each element on the site was carefully considered to provide an experience that respects the emotional needs of visitors. For instance, the warm welcome on the homepage, along with clearly highlighted service areas, guides users through an empathetic journey, reducing anxiety and fostering connection. Photos and imagery were chosen to evoke peace and comfort, mirroring the environment Wandering Willow’s therapists create in their sessions.

It was essential to make the site accessible and user-friendly, so potential clients feel at home regardless of where they are in Ontario. From streamlined navigation to thoughtfully placed calls to action, every interaction was designed to prioritize the visitor’s experience, building trust and making the path to connection feel natural and seamless.
